Pizza


Wow this pizza was good.  Delicious hot out of the oven and delicious cold out of the fridge two days later.  We're big fans of Aldi's Specialty Selected original naan.  Definitely highly processed, but you have to live a little!  Plus we have not had the time or energy to make our own naan.  It's summer time after all!  To make the pizza, we took our inspiration from this awesome recipe from The First Mess.  We did skip the truffle oil.  A little too pricey and we're off the oils.  The white beans, nutritional yeast, lemon, garlic, salt and pepper made a great sauce.  We topped our pizza with broccoli rabe, red onions, sauteed mushrooms, and sun-dried tomatoes.  We were both really surprised by how much we liked it.  Thankfully we have more broccoli rabe so we will be making another batch this weekend!
